This causes some obvious problems with medications and amount that may be in his system. The drugs he's been taking for the last week or so are all the kind that dissolve in his mouth (not swallowed). But we're still unsure how much is staying in his systme. Yesterday, our hospice nurse worked with the pharmacy to create a "lotion" that can be applied on the skin with some of the drugs including one that is supposed to help relax the muscles and help relieve the vomiting. We tried this for the first time last night, but so far we haven't seen much difference. We're hoping that giving it a little more time to work into his system will help.
Mom is so very strong and is by his side constantly doing all the gross work involved with this without any complaint but also without any real rest.
Please pray for
1. Relief from the retching
2. Wisdom to know which drugs help
3. Method of application of the drugs that will penetrate to provide relief
4. Peace

Prayed last night, and will continue to pray for relief for Dale and rest for Kathy.
Praying for you all during this difficult time. Praise God that he has a placed prepared for Dale where he will be free of the pain and suffering.I have so many wonderful memories of your whole family and consider myself blessed to have been touched by your faith and gentle spirits. Thank you for keeping us updated via your blog.
Sara and family, You have my prayers.

When my friend had seizures, he was prescribed Phenergan Suppositories, which stopped the nausea, vomiting and helped him sleep. Ask if this medication would be possible? It really works! We will continue to pray. We love you, and we ask, now, that God will comfort Pastor Dale, and his family, and send His healing powers. "In Jesus', name, we pray." "We bind Satan, in the Name of Jesus!" "We will give God all of the Glory and Praise, in the name of Jesus!" We are believing, and accepting the healing. We are keeping the faith, where two or more are gathered, there God is also. "Amen." "To God be the Glory, Great things He has done. With your blood, You have saved me, with Your power you have raised me, to God be the Glory for the things he has done!" I know Pastor Dale likes this song, because he sang it to us in church. He played Lazarus, one Easter, at church. I will continue to pray without ceasing, for Gods perfect peace, will, and I am standing on the Promises of the Lord!~ "Amen."
