Just Because Day

What a fun day. We got a lot done this morning, and had a great time doing it. Erma joined us for part of the day too. Some pictures. Can you guess which things Nani chose to do?

St. Patrick's JB Day

Someone very special turns 6 on March 17. I think that calls for a St. Patty's day themed JB day, don't you. So Nani, what will it be. You can choose 6 of these options.

Word and Water

Wren's baptism was today, and she performed beautifully. Slept through the whole thing, in fact. Some pictures from the day.

I took some video of the event. I think this may be the closest Pastor Rinden has gotten to total immersion.

nickname update

So, I have a new name for JAC. About a month ago I tried Pippen, and he and his siblings loved it. It's so fun to hear him calling himself Pippen, and him calling the girls Lolly or Nani. The kid is talking up a storm, and getting into all kinds of trouble. He was sleeping when the others met Marin (Wren until I/we come up with something better), so I don't think he has any understanding of what this bodes, but he's very into babies right now, so I'll try to keep you up-to-date on Pip's progress.

Marin Linnae

I got a call at 4:00 this morning saying that Marin Linnae Carlson was born early this morning. Mom and baby are both doing well. She's been sleeping both times I've seen her, even with the hubbub of all the brothers and sisters this afternoon. Tracie said she's been really quiet all day and hopes that it lasts. So enough talk and on to the pictures.
